1.What are the application deadlines?

Application deadlines vary by programs and academic years.

Please refer to the most recent information available on our Graduate Admissions page.


2.Where can I find the course list?

Students may take courses taught in either English or Chinese.

The English-taught course offerings include, but are not limited to, the following areas:

-Computational Vision

-Advanced Computer Networks

-Advanced Computer Architecture

-Analysis of Algorithms and Theory of Computational Complexity

-Design Principles of Programming Languages

-Introduction to Probabilistic Programming

-Deep Reinforcement Learning

-Domain-Specific Computing and Systems


3.What application materials are required?

Please refer to the Application Guide on our website for the up-to-date requirements.

Prepare and upload the following documents in the online application system:

•Graduation and degree certificates (in Chinese or English; notarized if needed)

•Official academic transcripts (in Chinese or English; notarized if needed)

•Personal statement (Master’s: 1,500 words; PhD: 3,000 words; include intended supervisor)

•Resume

•Signed Application Commitment Letter (official template)

•Two recommendation letters from professors or equivalent academic personnel

•Language proficiency certificate:

 •Chinese-taught programs: HSK Level 6 (writing ≥ 65) or HSK 7–9

•English-taught programs: TOEFL iBT ≥ 100, IELTS ≥ 6.5, or GRE ≥ 315 (waiver possible if degree taught in English)

•Passport information page (clear color scan; ensure passport validity meets requirements)

Optional (if applicable):

•Table of contents and abstracts of publications or other research achievements


4.Do I need to select a supervisor when applying?

For PhD applicants: Selecting a supervisor is required.

For Master’s applicants: Selecting a supervisor is recommended but not mandatory.
