Minghui Zhou is a Distinguished Professor of Peking University Boya Program, and Vice Dean of the School of Computer Science, Peking University.

Her main research interests include open-source software development and ecosystem (open-source digital sociology), software data analytics, empirical software engineering, and intelligent system. She has published over 120 refereed papers in top international journals and conferences including TSE, TOSEM, ICSE, FSE, ASE and CSCW.

She and her collaborators invented novel concepts and fine metrics for global and open source software development, including developer fluency, long-term contributor, maintainer scalability, and open source co-opetition.
